Welcome to the Official Website for the feature film “Lucia”. The film was shot in Santiago, Chile in December 2008 and February 2009. The World Premiere of “Lucia” was held at the 58th San Sebastian International Film Festival in the Zabaltegi, New Directors section this September 2010. The Latin American Premiere of “Lucía” was at the Valdivia International Film Festival in Chile, October, 2010 where it won the Best Director Award in the Chilean Feature Film Competition. The film was also shown at the “Bright Future” section of the International Film Festival Rotterdam in Holland in January, 2011.
“Lucía” was awarded the FIPRESCI International Critics Prize, French Critics Discovery Prize, and the Special Coup de Coeur Jury Prize at Rencontres Cinémas d’Amérique de Toulouse in France, 2011.
The national premiere of “Lucía” is set for August 4, 2011 in Santiago, Chile.
